The Pakistan Stock Exchange faced a significant decline on the third trading day of the week, as the KSE 100 index fell by 1,703 points, dropping below two key psychological barriers.
The trading day ended with the hundred index at 174,429 points, showing a major decline from the previous day’s closing figure of 176,133 points.
During the trading session, shares of a total of 564 companies were traded. Out of these, the share prices of 353 companies saw a significant decrease. Meanwhile, the share prices of 108 companies increased, while the remaining companies remained stable.
