Afghan Rulers Urged to Uphold Women’s Rights

Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, today issued a direct call to the interim Afghan government, urging them to honor their international commitments, with a particular emphasis on ensuring the rights of women are not undermined.

During an interview, the senior Polish official also reaffirmed his country’s dedication to enhancing its partnership with Pakistan. Furthermore, he pointed out that Poland had also endorsed Pakistan”s inclusion in the GSP Plus trade arrangement, a valuable framework that provides preferential market access to the European Union.
