The Anjuman Tajiran Ittehad Group has announced a strike on Friday and Saturday to express solidarity with the people of Palestine.
This decision was made at the request of Jamaat-e-Islami. The President of Anjuman Tajiran Ittehad Group, Haji Zulkarnain Jigar, along with other members, made this announcement after meeting with the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami.
During the meeting, group members stated that they had already scheduled a strike for Friday. However, following the announcement of a Saturday strike by Jamaat-e-Islami and other parties, Anjuman Tajiran decided to observe the strike on both days.
The Anjuman Tajiran Ittehad Group has appealed to shopkeepers across the district to participate in rallies in favor of Palestinians and observe the strike on both days.
They condemned the Israeli bombings and atrocities against the Palestinian people and announced the closure of businesses on Friday and Saturday.
Leaders of the Anjuman Tajiran Ittehad Group reiterated their participation in the rallies organized by Jamaat-e-Islami and other parties after Friday prayers and appealed to the public to join the strike and continue the boycott of Israeli products.
