A tragic incident occurred in the nearby village of Muhammad Hassan Umrani, where Allah Dino Umrani allegedly set his wife, Maryam Umrani, on fire by dousing her with petrol.
Maryam Umrani, aged 35, was severely injured in the incident. She was immediately transferred to Indus Hospital Badin, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.
The legal proceedings have commenced against this incident. A report has been filed at the Tando Allahyar police station against Allah Dino Umrani, based on a complaint by the deceased woman’s brother-in-law, Imtiaz Umrani.
As of now, the suspect, Allah Dino Umrani, has not been arrested, while further investigations by the police were ongoing.
