LARKANA: Rain victims of different villages of Baqrani taluka protested in front of the press club, where they held banners and shouted slogans against the administration on Sunday.

While speaking, they said that 10 days have passed since the rain stopped, but till now the MNAs, MPAs related to the People’s Party have not come to our aid and we are forced to live under the open sky in the schools and on the roads. They said that Nisar Khuhro also assured to provide all possible help to them but nothing has so far been done.

While protesting there, rain victims Zahid Ali, Rajab Ali, Abdul Razzaq, Abdul Wahab, Abdul Hameed, Bakhshal, Wajid, Abdul Sattar Tonio, Ali Bakhsh Kanbhar, Singar Sheikh and others said that due to recent rains, the villages of Ganja, Gul Muhammad, and Sajawal of Baqrani taluka were flooded. More than 12 villages, including Abdul Samad Tunio, Garhi Al Horayo Tunio, Haroon Tunio, Nayon Abad, Kunbi, Baqrani, Rajan Tunio, had collapsed and they had not been able to get rations, tents and other equipment until now.

They said: “We are sitting helpless in schools and roads, but the administration has not given us rations, tents and other equipment and our children are forced to go hungry.” They said that none of the officials of the district administration, including MNA Khurshid Junejo, MPA Hizbullah Bughio and MPA Sohail Anwar Siyal, had come to them. They demanded that rations, tents and supplies should be provided to them.
