QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has accorded approval for issuance of health cards in favour of 89886 registered fishermen of the province, said a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Monday.

A summary initiated by Fisheries and Coastal Development Department, Government of Balochistan for issuance of health cards in favour of registered fishermen of the province was approved by the Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.

In the first phase, health cards to the registered fishermen of Gwadar would be issued while in the second phase, health cards to the fishermen of Lasbela and Hub would be issued. The issuance of health cards would help address the health problems of the fishermen of the province. Statement said that total number of registered fishermen in the province is 89886.
