Balochistan Customs seizes foreign clothes worth millions of rupees

QUETTA: The Collectorate of Customs Balochistan announced a significant operation resulting in the seizure of foreign clothes valued at millions of rupees in the Nutal area of Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan province, on Monday.

In an official statement, the spokesman for the Collectorate of Customs Balochistan revealed that Customs Enforcement personnel, led by Assistant Collector Muhammad Saleem Khokhar and acting on the directives of Collector Customs, Quetta, Muhammad Ismail, conducted the operation. The enforcement team discovered and confiscated foreign clothes from seven containers during a thorough check at Nutal.

The seized goods were promptly transferred to the customs warehouse in Quetta. Authorities are currently conducting further investigations into the nature and origin of the confiscated items.

This operation underscores the continued commitment of customs authorities to combat smuggling and illicit trade activities within the region.
