QUETTA: Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ), while condemning maltreatment with the journalists during the protest demonstration of Insaf Lawyers Forum, Balochistan outside Quetta Press Club, demanded Wednesday that the senior leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should take notice of the issue; otherwise, stern future course of action would be devised.
Irfan Saeed, President, Balochistan Union of Journalists and Manzoor Ahmed, General Secretary, BUJ in a joint statement issued here on Wednesday said that hampering the work of media teams by the leaders of Insaf Lawyers Forum, Balochistan during the protest demonstration held outside Quetta Press Club was condemnable.
They said that the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf must take steps for ensuring the security and self-respect of journalists during protest demonstrations. Condemning maltreatment meted out to the journalists during the protest demonstration of Insaf Lawyers Forum, Balochistan held outside Quetta Press Club, they demanded the senior leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to take notice of the issue otherwise stern future course of action would be devised.
