In a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi, alongside Balochistan Awami Party leaders, conveyed that the challenges faced by Balochistan are unlikely to be resolved through protests and sit-ins.
He highlighted that politics is a continuous process and emphasized the importance of not viewing the state as weak. Expressing his concerns about the province, Magsi called on BNP leader Akhtar Mengal to return to negotiations and rethink the protest approach, underscoring the need to prioritize the welfare of the people.
Magsi assured that both the provincial government and the state are engaged in efforts to maintain their authority while addressing public grievances.
He affirmed, “Politics will continue, but the state will fulfill its responsibilities.” During the briefing, he disclosed that Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani had recently met with Akhtar Mengal, and he himself had also reached out, encouraging Mengal to reassess his decisions in light of the changing political landscape.
