Balochistan’s rights in PSDP usurped: Dumar

QUETTA: Haji Noor Muhammad Dumar, Senior Minister for Planning and Development, said Thursday that rights of all divisions of Balochistan province had been usurped in the federal PSDP in the garb of Southern Balochistan Development Package.

In a statement, he said that Balochistan province had altogether been neglected in federal Pubic Sector Development Programme (PSDP), adding that in the recent meeting of NEC, no new scheme for Balochistan had been reflected.

He said that after going through the federal PSDP, no new schemes for the rest of Balochistan was found to be included in the PSDP with the exception of “Southern Balochistan Development Package” announced by the former Prime Minister Imran Khan for 10 southern districts of the province. Dumar said reservations were conveyed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif who assured to remove the reservations.
