LASBELLA:Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema, Deputy Commissioner, Lasbela has said that beach-tourism sector was being promoted in order to boost economic activities in the province.
These views were expressed by him while talking to Dr. Kaleemullah Lashari, archaeologist, historian and writer and members of Tour Operator Association, Karachi who called on him at his office here on Wednesday. Cheema said that coastal belt of Balochistan was unique and such uniqueness could not be found anywhere in the world. He added that coastal belt of Balochistan, which stretched over a distance of about 770 kilometer, carried immense significance in view of its geographical location.
He said that the incumbent provincial government was adopting measures to promote beach-tourism so as to boost economic activities in the province.
