A significant decrease was observed in gold prices on Thursday, June 19, with the price of one tola of 24-karat gold decreasing by 460 rupees to 358,595 rupees. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by 394 rupees to 307,437 rupees. Similarly, the rate of 10 grams of 22-karat gold closed at 281,827 rupees, down by 361 rupees.
This decline was also seen globally, where the per ounce price decreased by $6 to $3,372. Silver also followed in gold’s footsteps, with the price of one tola of 24-karat silver closing at 3,820 rupees, down by 58 rupees. The rate of 10 grams of 24-karat silver also ended at 3,275 rupees, down by 49 rupees.
A decline was also seen in silver markets globally on June 19, where the per ounce price decreased by $0.83 to $36.37.
