The body of a newborn baby has been found in a garbage dump in the Naya Nazimabad area, prompting police to initiate action.

According to initial reports, the tragic incident occurred on Sunday morning at a garbage heap near Awami General Store in Mianwali Colony.

Edhi Foundation’s rescue services were dispatched to the scene. The welfare organization’s ambulance transported the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for necessary medical and legal procedures.

Officials from the Pirabad police station have taken notice of the matter, and an investigation is expected to begin to determine the circumstances of the child’s death.
