BSO-B leader seeks recovery of Kiyazai

QUETTA:Zubair Baloch, Central Chairman, Baloch Student Organization (Bijjar), has called on authorities to recover Takari Bahadur Kiyazai, who was abducted from Western Bypass area of Quetta a couple of days earlier, and apprehend assailants involved in killing Yasir Zafar, a student of Karachi University, in Zamran area of district Buleda of Balochistan province.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Saturday with others, Baloch said that the issue of missing persons could not be addressed and the desire of durable peace in the province could not be materialised unless government commenced parleys of 2014 afresh.

He said that educational institutions of the province had been made the place of abode for security forces, adding that all kind of political activities and study circles in the University of Balochistan and other educational institutions had been banned so as to provide cover to the illegal acts committed by the administration of University of Balochistan.

He said that former Vice Chancellor, University of Balochistan, was responsible for what had happened in the university. He asked as to disciplinary proceedings were not initiated against abettors of former Vice Chancellor, University of Balochistan and why people were not apprised of the facts.

He said that examination branch of the University of Balochistan was used as a tool for defecting students to the students unions and organizations formed at the behest of university’s administration for furthering their agenda. Baloch added that students unions were made by former Registrar, University of Balochistan, Tariq Jogezai and PSO, UOB, Yahya, but no action was taken against them. On the occasion, Samreen Baloch, student of Bolan Medical College, Quetta and Rubina Baloch announced to join Baloch Students Organization (Bijjar).
