ISLAMABAD: On the directives of Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Education and Rehabilitation Centres across the province are celebrating “Tree Plantation” Green Sindh, Green Pakistan”.
In this regard, a ceremony was held at Government’s Special Education and Rehabilitation Center along Jungshahi road in Makli area of Thatta in collaboration with Forest Department Thatta.
Ubedullah Pahore, ADC-I, Thatta and Abdul Qudoos Baig, Divisional Forest Officer, Thatta, Dr Shayam Kumar, Senior Dental Surgeon, Civil Hospital Thatta, Niaz Memon, Additional Director, Social Welfare Department, Iftikhar, DSP, Complain Cell, Thatta, KB Behrani, child Protection Officer, Ms Gul Bibi Shah, Deputy Attorney Thatta and others also attended the ceremony.
Principal Nadeem Ibrahim thanked the distinguished guests. It is to mention here that Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar has directed all the heads of Government Special Education and Rehabilitation Centres to organize tree plantation based activities in their respective centres in order to participate in Green Sindh Camping. The aim of celebrating such activities is to develop confidence among special children and to encourage them to show their talents.
