QUETTA: Unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on the central secretariat of Balochistan Aman Jirga (BAJ) on Thursday, however, no loss has been reported.
According to detail, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on the central secretariat of Balochistan Aman Jirga at Balochi street area of the provincial capital. The attackers managed to escape after the firing. Head of Balochistan Aman Jirga, Lala Muhammad Yousaf Khilji, was present in the central secretariat of Balochistan Aman Jirga at the time of the incident.
Terming the incident as a deliberate attempt to deteriorate peace of province, spokesperson for Balochistan Aman Jirga on the occasion said that police were present near the site of the incident, but did not bother either to arrest or chase the attackers. He called on the authorities to apprehend perpetrators involved in the incident.
