LAHORE:Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi along with Minister of Water Resources Chaudhry Moonis Elahi met Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office here on Monday and discussed matters of politics, local bodies election and matters of public welfare.
Both the leaders agreed to improve their working relationship and part take in the local bodies election. CM Punjab said that in PTI has an excellent working relation with PML-Q in the province. On the important matters, PTI will keep on consulting PML-Q, Usman Buzdar mentioned. Both the parties will make sure to serve the public. PTI has worked for the matchless prosperity of the region. Speaker Punjab Assembly said that for the welfare of the public, PML-Q is working hard to give relief and work with better intention towards public welfare.
Earlier today, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid met Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in Lahore. During the meeting, matters pertaining to mutual interests, overall political situation, law and order situation and welfare projects in Rawalpindi were discussed.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that incumbent government is taking all-out measures for protection of lives and properties of people. He regretted that previous governments promoted politics of victimization and vendetta, whereas; PTI government promoted politics of tolerance and brotherhood.
