LARKANA:Commissioner, Larkana Division, Ghanwar Ali Leghari, inaugurated the 7th house and digital population census here on Wednesday.
The commissioner cut the ribbon in his office and inaugurated the enumeration from 001 in his office where the officials of enumeration teams briefed him about digital enumeration. On this occasion, prayers were also asked for the success of the census.
Speaking to the media, Commissioner Laghari said that the seventh digital population census has been inaugurated and this process will continue in all districts, talukas and villages of Sindh. Deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners of all districts will supervise the work and urged the residents of Larkana to enumerate every member of their household in the census.
He said that for this, I appeal to conscious people, social and political organizations to include themselves in the census. He said that data is required at the time of login in the digital census, after that the counting will continue even if there is no data, then wherever the network comes, it will be digitized automatically. He said that 5,500 blocks have been constructed for census in Larkana, including 3,500 enumerators and 450 supervisors.
Apart from this, the Mukhtarkar and other staff of the revenue department are also participating in the population and household census work. He said that population and household census plays an important role for our planning, so we have to show seriousness in it. He said that for the first time with the digital census, there may be minor technical problems, which will be resolved. He said that the staff has been trained, NADRA and other institutions are also supporting this census, so this process will be completed successfully.
