Commissioner Quetta chairs meeting, security plan for Eid Milad procession finalized

Commissioner Quetta Division Shahzib Khan Kakar chaired a crucial meeting focused on security strategies for the celebration of Eid Milad un-Nabi ?. The meeting highlighted the need for stringent security measures in light of the recent sensitive situation, while ensuring the central procession proceeds with religious reverence and comprehensive protection.

A detailed plan has been implemented to ensure public safety. Commissioner Kakar emphasized that all procession routes will be completely secured, with police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel strategically deployed. Furthermore, strict checking will be conducted at all entry and exit points. To enhance security, the number of processions has been reduced, ensuring a more focused and organized security presence.

The meeting resolved that all commercial activities will be suspended during the procession, shops will remain closed, and vehicles will be parked away from the event site. The procession is expected to conclude promptly, maintaining order and safety. Police forces will remain in constant contact with volunteer groups to enhance the effective implementation of security arrangements.

Commissioner Kakar appealed to all communities to promote peace and cooperate with security agencies for a smooth and secure event. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini, SSP Operations Quetta Muhammad Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Political Quetta Division Kaleemullah, and representatives from FC, Police, trade organizations, and Jamiat Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan.
