Committee Pledges University Education for Martyred Police Officers’ Children

A delegation from the National Peace Message Committee today pledged to provide comprehensive educational support to the children of fallen Balochistan police officers, offering to facilitate their studies at Islamic universities in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.

The commitment was made during a meeting at the Central Police Office, where the committee, led by Allama Tahir Ashrafi, met with the bereaved families to offer condolences. Additional IG Police Agha Muhammad Housaf and AIG Welfare Faryal Farid were also in attendance.

The delegation lauded the officers who lost their lives, stating they had made the ultimate sacrifice for the establishment of peace and stability in the province. The committee members said the officers thwarted the malevolent intentions of terrorists, saving the nation from a significant catastrophe.

“We salute the great sons of the nation, and the sacrifices of their lives for the protection of the people can never be forgotten,” a spokesperson for the delegation remarked. They added that their visit to Balochistan was to personally pay homage to the families who raised such valiant individuals.

While acknowledging that the Balochistan government and the police department are already providing good care for the families, the committee expressed its desire to contribute further. They affirmed their readiness to extend all possible assistance for the educational pursuits of the martyrs” children.

The families of the martyred officers expressed that the visit had boosted their morale. They conveyed their satisfaction with the support provided by the government and the police department at all levels.

The relatives stated they are proud to be associated with the martyrs and feel the support of not only the government but the entire community. They concluded by reiterating their own resolve to make any sacrifice necessary for the country and the nation in the future.
