Crackdown should be launched against substandard gas cylinder refilling points across Sindh: Functional Muslim League

Following a devastating explosion in Soldier Bazar that claimed 14 lives and left several injured, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Sindh Secretary General Sardar Abdul Rahim has called for a transparent investigation and a province-wide crackdown against substandard gas cylinder refilling points.

Sardar Abdul Rahim, in a statement on Thursday morning, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the fatal incident.

The PML-F leader extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured in the blast.

He demanded a thorough and impartial inquiry into the tragedy, emphasizing that strict legal action must be taken against those found responsible.

The party’s Sindh secretary general highlighted a potential cause for such incidents, stating, “A crackdown should be initiated against substandard gas cylinder refilling points across Sindh.”

He stressed that protecting the lives and property of the public is the fundamental responsibility of the state.

Furthermore, Sardar Abdul Rahim urged for immediate financial assistance to be provided to the families of the deceased and the injured individuals.
