Cultural gathering held in Makli for the success of Sindh Cultural Day in Thatta

Like the rest of Sindh, a cultural gathering was held at the historic site of Makli on the night between Saturday and Sunday by the National Press Club Thatta for the success of Sindh Cultural Day, to be celebrated on December 7.

At the event, young artists Mansoor Mehboob Khaskheli, Roshan Junejo, Imtiaz Soomro, and Meenh Wasayo Palari delivered outstanding performances, whose music filled the participating youth with enthusiasm.

Emerging and senior poets received great appreciation. Fida Hussain Memon, Abdullah Chandio, Shakir Kalmati, and Hameed Mehranoi were among the poets who mesmerized the audience with their melodious poetry.

Further enhancing the theme of the event, a delegation of literary figures, including Sufi Zulfiqar Qadri, Ramzan Memon, and Ajiz Qadir Bux Samoon, also presented their work, expressing their enthusiastic commitment to the day of solidarity.

The gathering was attended by a notable number of dignitaries, including former senator Sassui Palijo, provincial minister Riaz Shah Shirazi, and representatives from various political parties such as Ashiq Zardari of the Peoples Party, Abdul Razzaq Chandio of the Awami Tehreek, Ghulam Nabi Khutti of JSQM, and Amjad Shah of PTI.

Key local officials such as District Council Chairman Abdul Hameed Panhwar and Municipal Committee Chairman Ada Muhammad Memon were also present, along with numerous representatives from citizen, press, and youth organizations, demonstrating broad community support for the occasion.
