DUKI:Deputy Commissioner, Duki, Azeem Kakar has said that the absence of heads of line departments showed that they were reluctant to perform their duties.
Those officers who did not take interest in performing their duties ought to get themselves transferred from the district, he said while presiding over a monthly meeting of heads of line departments and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) here on Wednesday.
Addressing participants of meeting, Kakar added that district officers must ensure their presence at their places of posting as no compromise would be made on absence from duty. Deputy Commissioner, Duki urged officers to utilize all available resources for addressing the problems of people.
The meeting was attended by District Health Officer, Duki, Dr. Abdul Haleem Nasar, District Education Officer, Habibullah Malghani, Deputy Director, Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Syed Bilal Shah, District Account Officer, Abdul Ghani, Royalty Officer, Habib-ur-Rehman Luni, Nur Khan Nasar of Public Health Engineering Department and other officers of different line departments.
