Islamabad, February 20, 2018 (PPI-OT): Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan has reiterated government’s resolve to fully cooperate in courageous mission of the armed forces to defend national frontiers of the country. Chairing a meeting to review preparations of defence budget for next fiscal year, the minister lauded high level automation in this regard.
Khurram Dastgir appreciated subordinate departments of the defence ministry, inter-services organizations, and armed forces for regularly updating over spending of the budget. The Minister was given detailed briefing regarding recent trends in the defence budget and monetary needs of the armed forces to replace old equipment with the new one.
