Deputy Prime Minister arrives in Manila to attend ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting

Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar arrived today in Manila, Philippines, where the 33rd Ministerial Meeting is commencing.

Upon arrival, Deputy Prime Minister Dar was warmly welcomed by senior officials of the Philippines and Pakistan’s Ambassador, Asma Rabbani. The significant meeting will be attended by the foreign ministers and delegates from the 27 member countries of the ASEAN Regional Forum, as well as the Secretary-General of ASEAN.

The forum will deliberate on key political and security issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region. The aim of the discussions is to strengthen peace, stability, and mutual cooperation through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.

Furthermore, Ishaq Dar has scheduled bilateral talks with his Filipino counterpart and other key figures, highlighting the importance of strengthening international relations and cooperation during this significant occasion.
