Under the directives of Sindh’s Minister for Local Government, Saeed Ghani, Director General of Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Altaf Gohar Memon, on Wednesday inaugurated the digital file scanning system in the authority’s Recovery Department. This initiative follows the complete computerization of the Recovery Department.
The process of scanning applicants’ files and other documents has now commenced in the Recovery Department. These files can be easily checked through QR codes. DG KDA Altaf Gohar Memon expressed satisfaction with the digital system, stating that it would significantly reduce illegal activities by 99% and enhance transparency.
Altaf Gohar Memon has also ordered the complete computerization of various departments within the authority, especially the Land Department. The aim is to increase the authority’s revenue sources and reduce financial issues.
During the ceremony, Altaf Gohar Memon presented shields and certificates of appreciation to the officers and employees of the Recovery Department for their outstanding performance. Senior Director Land Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui, KDA Secretary Arshad Khan, Director Finance Shakeel Siddiqui, Director IT Nasir Khan, and other officials were also present at the occasion.
