Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Canada, Muhammad Saleem, met with Lena Metlege Diab, the Canadian Minister for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, on Wednesday to discuss strategies for enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.
The high-level dialogue, which took place in Ottawa, focused on strengthening the connections between the people of Pakistan and Canada. During the discussion, High Commissioner Saleem acknowledged the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora. He commended the community for its immense involvement in Canada”s socio-economic development and its contribution to the country”s diverse fabric.
The two officials exchanged ideas on methods to further solidify community and cultural bonds, aiming to build upon the existing positive relationship.
