Amid an ongoing flood crisis, Pakistan has received a substantial new consignment of humanitarian assistance from China, with a special aircraft delivering 90 tons of essential relief goods to support displaced families.
The massive shipment, which landed at Islamabad International Airport, contained critical supplies including 700 tents, 16,000 blankets, 1,000 life jackets, and 4,000 sleeping bags for communities impacted by the recent deluges.
This latest delivery marks a continuation of China”s support, following two relief flights on September 28, 2025, that brought 300 tents and 9,000 blankets to aid the nation”s recovery efforts.
Following directives from the Prime Minister, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is coordinating with government bodies to ensure the swift and efficient allocation of all donated materials to the most affected populations.
The Government of Pakistan acknowledged the timely humanitarian contribution, stating that the gesture reaffirms the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two allied countries.
