The price of gold per tola in the country saw a major increase of Rs 7,100 today, after which the new price reached a new all-time high of Rs 533,562.
Similarly, the value of ten grams of gold also recorded a significant increase of Rs 6,087, bringing its new market price to Rs 457,443.
This increase at the local level reflects the changes in the global market, where the price of gold rose by $71 per ounce. The global price of gold was recorded at $5,108 per ounce.
The rise in precious metal prices also affected silver, and the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 374 to Rs 8,948.
