Ecstatic Afridi expects Zalmi to put a strong show in the final too

KARACHI: Owner of the PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi praises his team’s players for their dedication and expects his team to put its best in the sixth edition’s final too today (Thursday) in Abu Dhabi.

Peshawar Zalmi is one of the most successful team in Pakistan’s top sports event PSL. The former champions have made it to their fourth final in the ongoing sixth edition.

“Peshawar Zalmi players have unshakable faith in themselves,” Afridi told PPI. “And also countless prayers of millions of Zalmi’s fans have helped the team make it to the final.”

Punishing half-centuries by Hazratullah Zazai and Jonathan Wells carried Peshawar Zalmi to their final when they defeated Islamabad United by eight wickets in Eliminator 2 on Wednesday at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan’s celebrated business tycoon Afridi praised his team’s players for their dedication and hard-work. In Thursday’s final, the 2017 champions will meet first-timers Multan Sultan. “Insha Allah, our team will show its full potential in the final too,” said Afridi.
