Minister for Education Sindh, Syed Sardar Ali Shah, held a special meeting with the top-ranking students of the Karachi Board of Secondary Education exams, honoring their achievements with prize cheques and words of encouragement.
During the occasion held at his office, Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah awarded cheques to the position holders, acknowledging their hard work and success. Hafiz Abdul Rafay, the first-place holder from Government Delhi High School, received a cheque of PKR 200,000. Romaisa Imran, who earned the second position from Al-Khalil School, was presented with PKR 150,000, while Rukhsar Soomro from Little Fox School, who ranked third, was awarded PKR 100,000. The students’ parents were present to witness this momentous occasion.
The education minister also gifted a laptop to Abdul Rafay, the top-ranking student, as a token of encouragement. In an informal conversation with the students, Shah emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, stating that achieving a top position is merely the beginning. He remarked, ‘Confident youth are a bright guarantee for our future. True success lies not in reaching the top, but in continuing the journey of knowledge and using it to help others.’
Shah assured the students of his support in their future endeavors, urging them to keep their academic journeys active. Ali Khan Mairjat, the principal of Delhi School, also attended the event, adding to the celebratory atmosphere
