Envoy briefs Finance Minister on efforts to further strengthen Pak, China bilateral relationship

Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi called on the Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb here on Tuesday and briefed him on his ongoing efforts to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China.

During the meeting, the Finance Minister highlighted the significant strides made on the economic front, particularly the growing business and investor confidence in Pakistan.

He underscored the importance of robust economic diplomacy and collaboration, emphasizing the need for greater economic partnerships in Pakistan’s expanding economy.

Ambassador Khalil Hashmi shared details of high-level visits, exchanges, and agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations, especially in the areas of trade, investment, and economic collaboration.

The meeting ended with expression of commitment to further deepening the strategic and economic ties between Pakistan and China, recognizing the immense potential for mutual benefit in the years to come.

The meeting was also attended by Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Foreign Affairs.
