The District Health Officer of Khairpur has issued a stern warning after the disappearance of important staff files from the office. During the routine verification of payroll and service records, it was discovered that personal files of doctors of grade 17 and above are missing.
In response, a show-cause notice has been sent today to the concerned assistant, Ali Asghar, demanding a written explanation within 24 hours regarding the negligence. The notice emphasizes the immediate need for the recovery of the missing documents and the maintenance of the integrity and security of official records.
The DHO’s notice warns that if an explanation is not provided within the stipulated time, or if the explanation is found unsatisfactory, strict legal and departmental action will be taken against the concerned employee in accordance with service rules.
This development highlights the importance of safeguarding administrative records and ensuring transparency in the operations of the health department.
