Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says revamping of Federal Investigation Agency is on the cards to curb human trafficking.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore today, he said human traffickers are bringing a bad name for the country, which cannot be tolerated.
Responding to a question regarding problems being faced by people for getting passports, the Minister said Model Centers are being established to facilitate the public at large.
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid a glowing tribute to the 18 soldiers of FC Balochistan who embraced martyrdom while courageously confronting terrorists in Kalat.
According to a statement by Pakistan Information Department today, he said that the brave sons of FC Balochistan sacrificed their lives for the peace of the country, and the nation takes pride in the bravery of the martyred soldiers.
The martyrs are the heroes of the nation. He further stated that the 18 brave sons of the nation have achieved eternal glory by sacrificing their lives for the homeland and have attained the exalted status of martyrdom.
The nation salutes their immense sacrifice. He made it clear that the nation stands with the families of the martyrs. He emphasized that the nation deeply values the sacrifices of the security forces in the war against terrorism. He expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs.
The Interior Minister also praised the security forces for eliminating 23 terrorists in Mangochar. Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for bringing the 23 terrorists to a humiliating end. He stated that the security forces have thwarted the nefarious designs of the terrorists. He further added that the nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the security forces.
