The administration in Thari Mirwah cracked down on brick kilns for spreading environmental pollution and selling bricks at high prices, imposing heavy fines and sealing several kilns.
The raids on Thursday in various areas of the tehsil were led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Thari Mirwah, Dr. Arifa Batool, while local police and administrative officials also accompanied her during the inspection.
These actions were taken for multiple violations including illegal prices, spreading harmful pollution, and not meeting the prescribed operational standards.
In this operation, Assistant Mukhtiarkar Abid Karim Shar and SHO Anti-Encroachment Tariq Rind, along with other staff from their respective departments, also assisted Dr. Arifa Batool.
