KARACHI: The federal government has announced five holidays in connection with Eid-ul-Azha, according to a notification issued on Sunday.
According to a notification from PM Office, Eid-ul-Azha holidays will be observed from July 8 to 12. Earlier, the Cabinet Division handed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a summary of public holidays for Eid-ul-Azha.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the cabinet division has suggested three holidays from July 10 to July 12. However, July 10 already falls on Sunday which means there would be only two holidays for this Eid.
According to the details, the Prime Minister will give a final approval for the Eid-ul-Azha holidays. Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on July 10 in the country. Pakistan is set to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha on July 10 as Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Wednesday said Eid-ul-Azha will fall on Sunday (July 10).
