VEHARI:Four people were killed when car hit a bullock cart near Vehari on Thursday.
Police said a speeding car hit a bullock cart near Khadir Pul Luddan Hashilpur Road in Vehari. As a result, four youth suffered severe injuries and died. The deceased were identified as 24-year-old Zohaib, 25-year-old Saqlain, 24-year-old Shehryar, and 24-year-old Mansoor. The bodies were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Eyewitnesses said that the car was being driven fast and driver could not control its speed while hitting the cart. No arrest could be made till filing this report. The police have started a probe into the incident. A mourning atmosphere prevailed in the houses of victims.
