In an effort to enhance the agricultural potential of Balochistan, the ninth meeting of the Rural Development Committee of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) was held at Federation House Karachi on Thursday,. The meeting was led by Muhammad Tahir Ansari, Central Convener and Chairman of Al-Khair Trust, focusing on maximizing the region’s olive and date production.
The meeting began with a recitation by Mufti Muhammad Ashraf. Rural development expert Naseer Ahmed highlighted the economic benefits of promoting olive and date cultivation and marketing in the province.
Senior social figure Muhammad Siddique Shaikh presented suggestions for future strategies for rural development.
The meeting was attended by prominent participants such as Hashim Noorani, Humayun Zaki, Dr. Musa, Fatima Naz, and others, who participated in a robust discussion on enhancing rural economic development in Pakistan.
