QUETTA: The 265,639 patients had been examined and provided with free of cost medicines in 1,101 free medical camps arranged by provincial health department in the flood affected areas of Balochistan since the recent downpours triggered flash flooding in different areas of Balochistan, said Dr Waseem Baig, Media Coordinator, provincial health department in a statement issued here on Sunday.

He said that 4,282 patients, including women and children, had been examined in 19 free medical camps arranged in five flood affected areas of Balochistan during the last twenty four hours, adding that 992 patients of diarrhea, 1,037 patients of respiratory infection, 956 patients of skin infection, 19 patients bitten by snakes and 1,378 patients suffering from other diseases were not only diagnosed but also provided with free of cost medicines in the free medical camps set up in five flood affected areas of Balochistan.
