Gas load shedding worsens in Karachi: Pasban

Pasban Democratic Party Karachi Chief Organizer Tariq Chandiwala today expressed grave concerns over the worsening gas load shedding across Karachi city despite winter intensifies.

Despite lodging complaints, citizens are met with silence and inaction from authorities as large portion of the Old City Area, including Lyari, Lee Market, Haji Camp, Ghas Mandi, and Ramswami has been under 24-hour load shedding, he said in a statement.

Chandiwala criticized the negligence of politicians and corrupt bureaucracies, stating that ordinary citizens had become so disillusioned with the state and its institutions that they now blame those entities directly for every issue. This growing mistrust poses a serious threat to national stability.

“The perpetual shortage of electricity, gas, and water has become a year-round problem,” he added. Chandiwala urged those responsible for the country’s integrity to take notice of the incompetence and corruption among politicians and officials creating opportunities for foreign interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs.

The Pasban leader called for the immediate restoration of gas supply in affected areas and swift action against those responsible for the current crisis to rebuild public trust and ensure the nation’s stability.
