Gambat: The girl, who allegedly torched herself over a domestic issue, succumbed to her burn injuries in Gambat.
A young girl, Naveedan, alias Kavita Jodh, who had allegedly torched herself over a domestic issue two days back, died today during treatment at Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences. The body was handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities.
There were rumors that the girl was set on fire by her husband. The girl however had recorded a statement in which she said that she set herself on fire. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere among the heirs and relatives.
