The domestic bullion market experienced a notable downturn on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold seeing a significant reduction of Rs. 600 per tola, closing the day at Rs. 422,462.

This downward trend was consistent across other gold measurements. The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 514 to settle at Rs. 362,193. Similarly, the valuation for 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a dip of Rs. 471, bringing its new cost to Rs. 332,022.

The silver market was not immune to the slump, as its value also receded. The price for a tola of 24-karat silver fell by Rs. 18 to Rs. 5,094, while the 10-gram equivalent experienced a Rs. 15 drop, concluding at Rs. 4,367.

These local price adjustments mirrored a decline in the international commodities market. The global gold price slipped by $6 to land at $4,001. Concurrently, the international silver rate experienced a contraction of $0.18, closing at $48.32.
