Gold price decreases by Rs 3,700, reaches Rs 482,462 per tola

The local gold market saw a significant decline in the value of gold on Thursday, with the price of 24 karat gold per tola decreasing by Rs 3,700 to Rs 482,462.

This downward trend continued across other scales as well. The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 3,172 to a new level of Rs 413,633. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased by Rs 2,908 and closed at Rs 379,177.

A decrease in the price of silver was also recorded in the market. The price of 24 karat silver per tola decreased by Rs 150 to Rs 9,425, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs 129 to Rs 8,080.

This decrease in prices in the local bullion market reflects the downturn in the international market, where the price of gold per ounce decreased by $37 to $4,601. The price of silver in the international market also decreased by $1.50 and closed at $89.50 per ounce.
