In the local bullion market, the price of one tola of gold increased by a staggering Rs 8,400. This major increase pushed the value of gold to a new astonishing high of Rs 425,178.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also witnessed a significant increase. After a rise of Rs 7,202, the new price for 10 grams has been set at Rs 364,521.
This trend was also observed globally, where the price of gold per ounce in the international market saw a significant increase of 84. The new global benchmark for the commodity now stands at the extraordinary level of 4,039 per ounce.
