Government focusing uplift of backward areas to alleviate poverty: Asad 

Islamabad, November 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision is to develop most backward area of the country on priority to alleviate poverty. He expressed these views while addressing a press conference along with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo in Quetta.

Asad Umar said Balochistan has lagged behind in the race for development process and the province had been deprived of its rights in the past. Minister for Planning said the South Balochistan package has reviewed and the improvement is made in the package so that people of Balochistan would benefit from relief package.

On the occasion, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said federal government continued assistance to put on track of the progress of the province. He said that South Balochistan package is a very good initiative and Balochistan needs more packages from the federation.
