Govt is striving to provide basic amenities: Rana

GULISTAN:Mather Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary, Balochistan on Monday said that the provincial government was earnestly striving to provide basic amenities of life to the people.

These views were expressed by him while presiding over a high level meeting held in the office of Assistant Commissioner, Gulistan. Earlier on his arrival at Gulistan, Deputy Commissioner, Killa Abdullah, Tariq Javed Mengal welcomed him and a smartly turned out contingent of levies force presented guard of honour to him in the office of Assistant Commissioner, Gulistan.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, Rana directed officers to serve the masses with dedication, devotion, sincerity and leave no stone unturned in redressing the grievances of people. Issuing directives for timely completion of ongoing development schemes in district Killa Abdullah of Balochistan province, he said the timely completion of development schemes would benefit people of the area.

Deputy Commissioner, Killa Abdullah, Tariq Javed Mengal, delivered a comprehensive briefing about law and order situation in district Killa Abdullah, development schemes of education, health, Irrigation, social welfare, agriculture departments being executed in district Killa Abdullah and problems being faced by district administration in execution of development schemes.

The meeting was attended by Secretary, Communication and Works Department, Ghulam Ali Baloch, Secretary, Colleges, Higher and Technical Education Department, Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai, Secretary, Secondary Education Department, Shair Khan Bazai, Director General, Balochistan Levies Force, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Baloch, Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, District Police Officer, Killa Abdullah, Jaffar Khan and heads of different line Departments.
