Govt taking concrete measures to prevent incidents of abduction of children: CM Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired a high level meeting in Changa Manga on Friday, to review progress on investigation into the incident of killing of children in Chunian.

The Chief Minister was briefed about the Joint Investigation Team’s progress of investigation in the case.

He directed police to recover the missing boy Imran who had gone missing from Chunian.

He said this is a test case for the government and it will be taken to its logical conclusion.

Later talking to newsmen, the Chief Minister said government is taking concrete measures to prevent the incidents of abduction of children in the province.

He said all available resources are being utilized to arrest the culprits involved in the incident of killing of three minors in Chunian.

He said government will not tolerate corrupt elements in police department.
