In view of the foolproof security arrangements in the federal capital Islamabad, extensive security operations have commenced today under the direction of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
Large-scale search operations have been initiated in key areas such as Ramna, Koral, Sangjani, Aabpara, Karpa, Phulgran, and within the industrial area police limits. These operations, overseen by the Zonal Superintendents of Police and involving female officers, highlight a robust approach to security.
During these operations, authorities examined 296 individuals, 133 residences, five hotels, 15 commercial establishments, 159 motorcycles, and 61 vehicles. Consequently, two suspects and 15 motorcycles were taken to local police stations for further investigation.
Special checkpoints have been strategically deployed to enhance surveillance at the city’s entry and exit points. Additionally, all patrolling units and special squads are actively monitoring the urban landscape.
Citizens are urged to cooperate with the checking and to assist law enforcement officers by immediately reporting any suspicious activity. Islamabad Police is committed to safeguarding the welfare of the community and ensuring that all necessary precautions are in place to protect life and property.
