Head constable electrocuted to death in Multan

MULTAN: A young head constable was electrocuted to death last Sunday night in Multan, police spokesman said on Monday.

Muhammad Imran Khan, aged 40, was going from hostel to cafeteria during raining when he received electric shocks from the pole due to strong winds. He was rushed to Nishtar hospital in a college ambulance, where doctors pronounced him dead sometime after arrival The police said he died in the line of duty. The body of martyred police officer was sent to his native town, Hasilpur of district Bahawalpur.
