Humanitarian Aid – Pakistan Sends 24th Consignment of Critical Aid to Gaza

Pakistan has dispatched its twenty-fourth relief shipment to the people of Palestine, sending 100 tonnes of essential supplies to address the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The substantial aid package was sent under the direct orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) overseeing the operation. This marks the latest in a consistent series of support efforts from the nation, according to official information today.

A specially chartered flight carrying the relief goods departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. The aircraft is scheduled to travel to Gaza via Egypt, from where the supplies will be delivered to those in need.

The shipment was carefully packed with a variety of foodstuffs to support the displaced population. The aid package comprised flour, rice, sweet corns, chickpeas, cooking oil, fruit cocktails, and a supply of ready-to-eat meals.
